Question
In GSTR-2A, the last column shows Counter Party Submit Status, where in some
cases against suppliers name is written `Yes` and against some suppliers name is
written `No`. If we have purchased something and given our GSTIN to supplier,
then while checking GSTR-2A, if against supplier name is written `No` , what
does it conveys and whether purchaser has to do anything so that it can be
rectified.
Answer
Counterparty status in GSTR-2A reflects filling status of GSTR-1 of the supplier it means that the supplier has recorded the invoice details and submit the return but has not filed the return . That why the status is shown "No".--
