We are textile fabric manufacturer and exporting fabric under LUT and want refund of input used for export. For this Government has to issue circular and proper officer for sanctioning refund. Is government started refund for this type of exporter?  

Answer:

As on date Common Portal for refunds relating exports has not yet started functioning. Hence, you are advised to file your refund claim manually so that you remain in queue when the department starts disbursing refunds. Though the Government has made announcement to start disbursing refunds relating exports, yet the scheme has yet to take off. (Reply dt. 14/11/2017)
